Notice to Our Users: Service Changes in Response to COVID-19

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our normal way of life. During this time, the health and well-being of those involved in supporting the research and deployment of Capacitype resource information is our main priority.

In direct response to COVID-19 public health guidelines, we are suspending certain levels of service so that resources can be reallocated to address emerging needs for behavioral health and recovery support. This suspension includes specific features that have previously allowed for submission of resource information for publication to the Recovery Resource Hub.

While our resource map will remain online, please be aware that updates to listed resource information will be severely limited. Those seeking programs, services, or treatment are urged to verify each provider’s credentials and certifications to confirm their expertise and quality of service.

Online meetings

We recommend viewing resource information that has been curated with our Google Recover Together partners.

The need for CDC-recommended "social distancing" in response to the COVID-19 health crisis can have a significant impact on people in recovery from addiction. So that people in recovery can still access critical recovery support groups, the Google site provides a short list of virtual resources. Please refer to each meeting group for best practices on how to maintain anonymity (if desired) during virtual meetings.

Be and stay well.
